Storyline ....
Since Amazon didn't post an editorial review for this book, here's the description from the back of the book to help you decide if this book is for you: "Who was the mole called Albatross? Was he Brigadier James White, the revered head of British Intelligence, now about to retire after a career of dazzling achievment? Was he Humphrey Grant, his second in command, and a man whose secret sexual life made him an all-too-likely tool in Soviet hands? Was he John Kidson, the perfect technocrat and brother-in-law to the woman assigned to unearth Russia's most deadly mole? Was he Tony Walden, the man assigned to be that woman's cover, and who was turning her into his puppet? British intelligence had to find out -- befoer it was too late for Britain, and for the world ..."

The Amazing Anthony Ant
I loved this book as a preschool teacher, and now, as a kindergarten and first grade teacher I have come to appreciate it all the more. It has been an invaluable aid in teaching my first graders to look for patterns in books. They love to sing along with the pages and it is filled with patterns...repeating and growing patterns. Of course, I teach math, so I have a certain bias....

America's Most Influential First Ladies (Profiles (Minneapolis, Minn.).)
Published in Library Binding by Oliver Pr (February, 2003)
Author: Carl Sferrazza Anthony
Average review score:

A great book on first ladies!
this book was a great help to me while I was writing a report on influential first ladies. The author includes interesting facts and much more detail on the first lady's lives than the average book on first ladies. The book includes the first ladies personal insights and what they were interested in - politics, education, etc. It really shows how some first ladies played the presidential role more than the president of the time did. I recommend this book, especially if you are writing a report on a specific first lady included in the book, all the first ladies, and especically the influential first ladies.

American Gargoyles: Flannery O'Connor and the Medieval Grotesque

Authors: Anthony Di Renzo and Anthony Di Renzo

DiRenzo understands O'Conner
There is a temptation to say that O'Conner is just out there. DiRenzo does a great job putting O'conner in context.

The American senator
Published in Unknown Binding by ()
Author: Anthony Trollope
Average review score:

Excellent introduction to Trollope
I've read several books by Trollope and enjoyed this one very much. It includes most of the standard Trollope elements: two people who are in love with each other, but too shy to say so; a fortune-hunting woman and the men she's after; members of the clergy; a bit of Parliament; family life in England in the 1870s; fox hunting; and satire of life in both England and the United States. The characters are extremely well drawn. Although the writing is "old fashioned," the emotions and situations are up-to-date. There is humor, pathos and excellent description.

Amethyst Dragon
Published in Paperback by Dorrance Publishing Co (November, 1996)
Author: Anthony Michael Gaines
Average review score:

excellent, deep poetry
This book takes a look at a side of the human self that no one generally looks at. The author's deep imagery sends chills up and down the spine. It looks at human mind body and spirit with great insight. It kept me reading on and on with these humanly dark but true poems...A very good read for the avid poetry reader....
